Beautiful Sheba...

Comments from new dad.. Sheba is doing great!! She has taken a liking to me right away. We are going for lots of walks and it seems that she is making progress when we see other dogs. So far I am really pleased with how she is doing. I really lucked out with her…she is a great dog

And Sheba is one lucky beauty queen to have finally found her man!

Sheba is a four year old shar-pei who has lived most of her life outdoors, on a choke chain, judging from the permanent collar indentation around her neck. She is very trusting of humans but not of other dogs, cats or other animals. In the month and a half that she has been in her foster home, Sheba has shown to be very affectionate and is learning to play with dog toys and likes rawhide bones. She gets very happy and excited when we come home after leaving her alone.

She likes to run fast around the house and also likes to lay on her back to have her tummy rubbed and muscle massages. Sheba also likes her comforts as she sleeps on the people bed during the day and on her bed at nighttime. Someone has taught her to sit and lay down on command and she does not beg at the table.

Sheba will make someone a very loving companion; she requires a dog smart home who will be committed to her ongoing training and socialization.
