Rolo Adopted! - uniquely handsome male
shar-pei cross around 11
months old. Rolo is very good with other dogs and just
about everyone he meets.
He resembles the old traditional
shar-pei look, but with his brindle coat looks absolutely amazing.
The foster mom rescued him from a bad situation and named him Rolo for
his coloring, but now says it's for his sweet personality, just like
chocolate.
Rolo has been in foster care for about
2 months now and has come a long way in socializing. He has learned
house manners and is very well behaved, quiet and calm, excellent with
everyone he meets from small children to adults. Good with mentally
challenged children also.
He rarely barks
unless someone is at the gate and shows no signs of aggression, even
to strangers in his own yard. Seems to love men the best as he
actually tries to play with them. Rolo is excellent with other dogs,
both male as well as female and is around 2 large dogs, as well as a 3
pound Chihuahua who bosses him around. Cats are his only downfall, If
they run he will chase them but up to now has never caught one.
This boy is now neutered and entropian
surgery performed. Rolo deserves a loving permanent
family are you them?
Update:
Rolo has been adopted by a wonderful family and is
living the country life with a canine dog pal and a little boy.
It doesn't get any better than this - not bad for a doggie that spent
his life tied up outside!!
Notes from mum:
Rolo
is awesome! He has totally fit in with our daily routines, each of
our family members and Loki! He and Loki play and play and play!
He's truly a pleasure to have around! Plus him and my son have created
a nice bond! He follows him everywhere and when it's Austyn's bedtime
Rolo has to go for a bedtime story as well! Kari was right, he travels
really well, he sleeps in our room or Austyn's room and has started to
be very protective of his home.
