LuLu

Update October 24:10: LuLu went downhill rapidly over the last 2 weeks. Her chest and legs were filled with fluid, and in the middle of the week she quit eating. Martha had to let her go yesterday when the cancer finally claimed her.

LuLu was lucky to be with a family who took care of her through the end and to finally know a peaceful life with proper care.

Update July 18.10: Lu is continuing to spread her wings, she is meeting and spending time with different dogs and her socialization is continuing - we're very proud of her, she has come from a porch dog to a happy little pei!

LuLu ... this gal is around 7 years old but still has lots of life and love to give. LuLu has not been socialized for much of her life, and was living in a garage and on the porch.

She is very loving towards humans, and with some training would do very well on her walkies. She is the queen of all she surveys and would do best as the only doggie in a home.

LuLu deserves a chance to have her own loving family after the way she has spent most of her life. If you are looking for a sweet female companion LuLu is for you!

We are looking for a foster home for LuLu who can concentrate on helping her relearn doggie skills. This can be best acheived if she is the only dog, and the family can concentrate on helping and training her. The adoptive family will have to be committed to training with Lu (which will be donated).
