My Tribute To Jenny
April 3,1988 - March 18, 2009
I felt a connection with Jenny from her photo on the
net. We were blessed to adopt and have this Special, Sweet and Gentle
Soul come into our life. Shar-pei definitely teach you patience
but, they also steal your heart.
When I first brought Jenny home she bonded to me right
away. I
was worried Jenny might have separation issues but, it turned
out she was just afraid of small spaces. An easy problem to
remedy.
When we were on our walks everyone wanted to meet her.
We were also lucky because we could take Jenny to work with us. Jenny
was welcomed and loved by all. She followed me everywhere. Even
when I had a bath her head would be resting on the top of the tub
waiting for me to get out.
Jenny had a basket of toys and we had play time every
day. She loved her bed but would also come up on the bed part
way through the night and snuggle close to me. My daughter
called Jenny a Princess. She had a way of prancing when she walked and
I also spoiled her, something I felt she deserved.
Jenny had to have a few surgeries, she was a real
trooper and so easy to care for. She took her meds with
grace, even the Vet loved her and called her his favourite.
In the end Jenny had mast cell tumors, a growing
calcium deposit on her spine, glucoma, wheezing and then her kidneys
failed her.
Jenny loved her home and yard and brought us so much
Joy, I miss her so much. My little earth angel she was.
But, It gives me some peace to know she will be waiting for me with my
husband John. Till then they can take care of each other.
I will carry Jenny in my Heart until then.

I would like to thank Terry and Trapper for bringing
Jenny into my life.
Lovingly written by Jenny's Mom
