Heaven's Gate

Dedicated to my darling Honey Pie who came into our lives December 28, 1999, departed February 24 2003.

*I am forever walking on these shores
Betwixt the sand and the foam
The high tide will erase my foot prints
And the wind will blow away the foam
But the sea and the shore will remain
Forever...

- as will our love for you sweet Bear Bear

Jake's Story

Jake was picked up as a stray in Bellingham, Washington. where the vet estimated his age as 9 years old.  We were asked to take him from the shelter as his chances of adoption were not good.  When we first laid eyes on Jake, I thought to myself this is the funniest looking shar-pei I have ever seen.  That dear face wound it's way into our hearts and Jake ended up joining our family.  Never far from my side in the five years he was with us, Jake will be forever and greatly missed.

Max ...November 8, 1997-December 14, 2006

Dedicated to the one who made it all happen for us in rescue, the reason for TnT Sharpei Rescue existing.  It has been months since he left us, and I'm not sure even now if I will be able to finish this tribute to our darling Max.  He joined our family in January 1998 as a puppy, and was much loved by all of us.

He saw many rescues come through our doors, and showed a few puppies the ropes around the ranch - his calm demeanour and curiousity about everything around him made him very special.

His story is our story, a much loved member of our family.

...you are one cool dude!...

I know you're out there somewhere...somewhere, somewhere

I know you're out there somewhere...somewhere you can hear my voice

I know I'll find you somehow, somehow.... somehow I'll return again to you...
