Emmy...
sweet
Emmy is just a wonderful little girl. She does have some vision
difficulties due to untreated entropian and cherry eye. This
gentle one was found dragging a chain, and in the beginning was very
mistrustful of humans. Since she has been in her foster home she
has begun to blossom, showing affection to her human family. Her
very first vet visit went very well, she was a really good girl, and
we now know what surgeries are required. She will have entropian
surgery, have her cherry eye fixed and be spayed before any decision
is made on a forever home. We are at this time collecting
applications for this dear girl.
Great news! Little Emmy has found her forever
home with two wonderful women who love her to pieces. We are so
happy she has found her new family.
Update received from Emmy's moms ...
Emmy's settling in nicely; since she's been here, she's relaxed quite
a bit and when she's not checking out the action on our balconies, she
can generally be found passed out sideways on her living room bed
after a good long walk. There's lots to sniff in the big city and
Emmy never lets a good scent get away. She delights everyone who sees
her with her wrinkly face and grave expression (especially us). She's
showing a little more personality every day and we're having lots of
fun getting to know her!
I've attached a couple of pictures - she likes to curl up near my desk
and she also likes to block the path to our BBQ until we pay a
delicious toll. So cute!!
